Great place to just go for a drink and hang out with friends or coworkers. Fun karaoke nights. I didn’t give it full stairs due to no crowd control. If you are going to be a messy drunk don’t go here. A female patron was just off and she acted like every guy at the bar was into her or trying to get with her‍♀️. Came with a bunch of friends and no one told her to just enjoy the show and act less arrogant towards the guys there when performing. I just looks bad when a girl is worse than guys.

I came across R bar randomly when I was visiting Los Angeles. It is a cozy bar that is great for a karaoke night with friends or even if you want to catch up with friends comfortably in a corner.

They serve some delicious cocktails, I remember having more than one of a particular drink but I can't remember the name. It may be one of the drinks on their special cocktails menu.

Went there for the Karaoke which was awesome..Great crowd and the vibe was crazy .I found a true Whiskey Sour with egg whites .So good..

The food here is surprisingly great. We ordered the Quesa Bites, which were shockingly good given that it's such a simple dish. The optional pork is a must, if you ask me. We also ordered the Fork It Brownie Bites but they ran out for the night, which was a big disappointment. Apparently the brownies are homemade everyday and in high-demand, which just made me want them that much more. Guess I'll just have to come by again to try them!

R Bar has immaculate vibes. It’s a third place, so you’ll feel community but also catch the tourist swinging by before hitting Brass Monkey. I’ve met some of the most interesting people on just random weekdays. There’s a girl on her laptop, cranking out her thesis with a dachshund in her hoodie. Meanwhile, the Korean opera singer from Seoul is getting called up to sing on Metal Monday.

Post-Covid/gentrification has hurt this place a lot. But it still has the charm. Go and support em, especially if this is your neighborhood!

Cozy and well decorated period-styled speakeasy bar. Was there on a Saturday night but there was no password required as expected. Was a live DJ playing an eclectic selection of old music which was in keeping with the theme. Great menu and happy hour specials. Great selection of food and drinks, and suprisingly very good value. Booths are cozy and private, and floor staff are available to serve at the booth spaces. Great place for intimate meetings or groups of friends alike.

Greetings!! Most people talk about how great places are, but fail to come back. The R Bar was pleasantly exotic, speakeasy-ish, and had a feel of both night club and bar. The sort of nocturnal folks that patron the R Bar were your everyday people, and the overall vibe was amazing. Tiffany Roth was effing bada**! 😀
