Len gave us a great tasting with a lot of information about the castle. He was definitely an expert! I really enjoyed the gunsight. The trophies and medals displayed with historic family photos really help tell more of a story behind the winery. Loved the gorgeous landscaping. My only negative was that I got called 3 times in addition to my online reservation for more info that seemed irrelevant and I got asked 3 times for my credit card. Seems stuffy, annoying, and no other wineries bothered me as often as this one. Would recommend another way to register.

Len Kopel of Ledson Winery provided an excellent wine tasting experience for my girlfriend and I for our first anniversary of being a couple. At Ledson Winery you can expect: Delicious charcuterie with excellent presentation, tasty sandwiches that rival sandwich shops across the nation, and exquisite wines for any palette that delights the senses. All at a modern castle with a beautiful view without exorbitant expenses. Everyone should make time to retreat to this paradise on Earth.

The tasting itself was eventful in the wrong ways. Our host was way too comfortable to talk about insane topics that were not prompted in any way. Some things that were brought up: Bitcoin is racist, panty dropping wines, investment advice on gold and silver and how the dollar will fail, sharing pictures of knife collections, and just generally being unprofessional.

As a group of younger men, we're probably the best situation for this stuff to be laughed off but I expect more out of a wine tasting.

The wine tasting experience at Lesson Winery is exceptional, with knowledgeable staff guiding guests through a selection of premium wines. From crisp whites to robust reds, each sip is a journey through the region's terroir.
Winery also hosts a variety of events and activities, from vineyard tours to wine pairing dinners. These experiences offer a deeper appreciation for the winemaking process and the region's rich viticulture heritage.

In a nutshell; pretty neat vineyard, server/s was great, and some good cheeze.

Usually only visit mansions of any kind for their great breakfast buffets, vineyard visits and Gatsby-esque parties and the Ledson Winery and Vineyards was a great experience overall. Did not arrive with the whole party at the time but we were still able to at least take a stroll of the vicinity for the time being. Once our whole party arrived , we were quickly seated and was greeted by our wonderful server. It would have been neat if you didn't have to get up from your seat to order more snacks and cheeses as you had to go to the store to procure them, still snacks and the cheeses were great. Overall rather pleasant experience and all the more as our two servers (one had to swap out to take calls), added to the overall enjoyment of the experience.

Sonoma count is blessed with so many interesting places! This one is built in Normandy style and has several tasting rooms and big picnic area behind the building where you can sit under the trees and enjoy wine and food which have to be purchased at the market inside.

While on our way from Healdsburg to Sonoma, we stopped by Ledson for the classic tasting. It is a standing tasting at the bar area. Casual, with no pressure. We were in the Sonoma area between Christmas and New Year’s which was perfect. No crowds, no traffic, and lots of attention.
The wine was fantastic, and Denise was great. She listened to what our likes were and offered a couple additional options which we ended up purchasing.
The Ledson is a beautiful, brick home turned winery. The grounds are gorgeous and the woodwork inside is breathtaking. There are more formal sit down tastings if you prefer.
The prices are reasonable too. Definitely recommend. We had a great time.

The property was beautiful. The customer service was good. We were helped by a few people.
We were able to buy just a glass. We had been to a few wineries before and the wine at Ledson wasn't as good as the others. Also it was overpriced. I got the cheapest glass of chardonnay and it was $16 and the class wasn't filled very much. Other places we went were cheaper, tastier, and we got more in our glasses.
