Been wanting to try J-Bar Meat Company for a while now and decided to do that when family was in town. We bought a Wagyu tri-tip roast which came out a perfect medium-rare after smoking for and hour and reverse searing over scalding mesquite lump coals. Earlier in the day due to it’s longer cook time we had a great set of beef back ribs that were seasoned from the night before and put on the smoker at 9:30 am at 225 degrees with an hourly spritz. Around 6pm we wrapped the ribs in butcher paper for another two hours. Pull them and rested, wrapped in a towel, in a cooler for scout 45 minutes. Pulled them out, plated and carved. Super tender with a huge beef taste. As good as the top of the list Louie Mueller’s BBQ beef ribs. The tri-tip was as delicious as any fine steak you may like. Will be making these again and will head straight to J-Bar to get the meat.

We went for the first time yesterday and we will 100% be back. They have such a large variety of meats. We got some 60 day age steaks and hands down was the best steak I’ve ever had!

This place is really a hidden gem, found some amazing selections including American wagyu and New York strips which for the price point it was the best deal in town. They have a large assortment of meats and seasonings, something for everyone. I will definitely tell my friends about this place

Their meats are well worth paying slightly higher than grocery prices. I can't believe how delicious and tender their 60-day Aged steaks turn out! I have been getting them whenever I can and I haven't had a bad or even a mediocre one yet!
I also highly recommend their smoked sausages and their brisket. I haven't gotten to try everything here yet, but I'm very impressed by the things I have tried!

A really nice hidden gem!
Not exactly on the beaten path but worth the detour.
The specialty meat variety is impressive. I was especially impressed with the cured pork tenderloin. It disappeared pretty quick. You might want to get an extra one just in case.
I’m bringing a bigger cooler next time

I ordered a smoked turkey from J-Bar for Thanksgiving. It was the BEST turkey I’ve ever had. So flavorful and moist. Everything I’ve purchased from them has been amazing. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work!

The steaks are tender and they have garlic butter that is amazing. I love the pickles and the jalapeño poppers. They also have great jerky and snack options. Get the box’s when they have them. You won’t be disappointed and nice option to different try items.

I have bought products from J-Bar on four different occasions, and each purchase is better than the last. The staff are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help their customers. The meat is excellent and it's good to see a local business do such a good job. I would recommend them to anyone wanting great food and customer service! Thanks
